While out on a ride with some locals riders that my brother new, we headed out to St. George Island (you can read more about this ride that I did [here](https://www.thetriumphadventures.com/cape-san-blas/)). As usual, this ride was fantastic...especially the bridge heading over to St. George Island.

Once on the island, I immediately noticed that there were a TON of people here. I just did this same ride the weekend before and it was like a ghost town. Come to find out, some food and beer festival was going on. We headed over to the Blue Parrot and we were lucky to find a parking spot (the lot is small and the lot across the street was slammed due to the festival). We parked and headed for the back bar.

This place has a fantastic location. It is directly on the beach. This is both a bar and restaurant so we opted to sit at the rear bar. Check out the view from this bar via their [Beach Cam](https://www.blueparrotsgi.com/multimedia/livecam.htm?ref=thetriumphadventures.com). We were sitting right next to the beach. I did not eat any food there so I cannot comment on that but the drinks were priced ok. Not a rip off but not a great deal either. I was not complaining since the view is fantastic.

If you do visit St. George, check this place out. I am sure there are others like it but due to the festival, getting around was quite a struggle. We stayed for over an hour then opted to head back to land for some lunch.
