We just completed our second weekend trip. The weather was looking really strange so instead of heading to the western part of the state, we went north into Virginia...specifially Meadows of Dan, VA (next to the Blue Ridge Parkway). First of all, the weather turned out to be perfect.

We finally got our gear and bikes ready for a test run!  We opted to give it a try some place closer to home JUST in case something goes wrong.  Now both of us have a lot of experience in the outdoors but it is always a good idea do
