ViaTerra Crash Bar Bags

When I first got the Himalayan 450, I knew I wanted crash bar bags. I have had them on all my bikes and is a great place to be able to store things while riding such as a rain suit, hat, etc. The 450 seemed to be a bit limited in its offerings until I read and article about the ViaTerra Crash Bar Bags (they are referred to as Trail Packs). These bags are a perfect fit to the fuel tank crash bars. They are also waterproof and store up to 8L / bag. Plenty of room for most things you might need on a day ride.
These are a roll top type bag. I have always had bags that were zippers but I have not found them obtrusive to use. I have not actually filled them to capacity but they seem to have plenty of room for my use. They are a big larger than I wanted (I would have preferred 4-5L) but they accomplish what I need them for.
They install using Velcro straps. It may seem a bit confusing how they go on but here is a video showing how to use the straps and built in loops on the fuel tank bars.
How to mount the trail pack on a Himalayan
I have found them to be quite stable. I have not had to tighten any straps and they do not flap or move while riding. I have yet to lay the bike down so I am not sure how well they will weather a direct hit (my triumph bags did ok but they did begin to rip where they connected to the bike).

I have had them in some rain. Not a down pour yet so I cannot vouch for their waterproofness yet (but I am sure that day will come). Overall I am happy with the fit, the way they look, and the capacity. I like that I do not have to put on my side bags or put on a tail pack just for everyday riding.
